Mission
The School of Business at Slippery Rock University prepares students to be career-ready emerging leaders by developing competencies for success professionally and personally. All of our academic programs are student-centered with high levels of engagement in an environment where student learning is enhanced through faculty scholarly activities. The School of Business also serves as a catalyst for regional economic development through outreach and partnerships.

STRATEGIC GOALS
- Curriculum: SBUS is committed to providing high quality curriculum designed to make students 'career ready'. We emphasize excellence in teaching incorporating high impact practices to facilitate student engagement.
- Recruitment, Retention and Graduation: SBUS faculty and staff in conjunction with the University administration are highly engaged in the recruitment and retention of quality and diverse students.

Partnerships
The Principles for Responsible Management Education program is an initiative out of the United Nations Global Compact developed in 2007. Its six principles lay the foundation for a global platform for responsible management education.
