A 3.0 has its privileges! Transfer Admissions awards up to $2000 non-renewable merit scholarship awards to qualified transfer students for Spring and Fall terms, when funding is available. To be considered for these awards, the student must meet the following criteria:
- A cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better as of the last semester completed
- The last completed semester must have been as full-time status (at least 12 credits)
- Full-time enrollment (at least 12 credits) at SRU for the first semester in attendance
- Must complete a FAFSA which can be done at studentaid.ed.gov
Eligible candidates are identified through the admissions application process; no additional credentials or forms are needed to apply. Students in their first semester will be evaluated after final grades have been received by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. All transfer students will be considered for the merit scholarship awards; financial need may be reviewed depending on the entry term. All new transfer students should file the FAFSA as soon as possible to ensure the best eligibility.
