REGISTRAR'S ROCK BULLETIN
Summer 2026 Final Grading Timeline
August 3 – Session 2, Post-Session, Full Summer, and Summer Term grades due from faculty by 12:00 p.m. Academic Records begins processing grades.
August 4 - Final grades and GPA viewable on MySRU and Rock Audits.
August 5 - Academic Standing updated.
August 6 - Transcripts held for final grades released. Graduates needing transcripts showing degree conferral must select "Hold for Degree" when ordering their transcript.
August 10 - Review of Rock Audits for Summer 2026 graduation applicants begins. Degree conferral is contingent on all requirements being marked complete. Students with incomplete audits must work with their advisor to correct outstanding issues. In approximately 6-8 weeks, graduates who have their degree conferred will receive an email from Parchment with information about obtaining digital and hardcopy diplomas. Graduates with an outstanding hold with the university will not be issued a diploma or transcript until the hold is cleared with the appropriate office. Hold information is found in MySRU > My Profile > Holds in the upper-right.

Did your diploma arrive damaged?
Parchment will replace diplomas damaged in transit. Follow the steps below to request a new copy:
- Take a picture of the diploma showing the damage.
- Attach the image to an email.
- In the text of the email, include your Document ID, which is found on the insert included with the diploma.
- If you cannot located the Document ID, include your first name, last name, and institution name (Slippery Rock University).
- Send the email to diplomaprints@parchment.com.
Electronic Transcript Service Charge Increase August 1
Effective August 1, electronic transcripts ordered through Parchment will cost $12.00. Hard copy transcripts requested through the Office of Academic Records and Registration using the Transcript Request Form will continue to be provided at no charge, with the exception of same-day pick up requests.
Fall 2026 Registration

- Undergraduates must obtain a registration PIN (RPIN) from their primary academic advisor before registering for fall classes.
- Incoming freshmen cannot register themselves. Please email schedule.changes@sru.edu from your SRU account for assistance.
- Transfer students should reach out to their major department for assistance registering for classes.
- Registration errors generally require overrides from the course instructor. Read the error message in full and contact whomever the error message specifies for assistance.
- Holds preventing registration must be resolved with the appropriate office. Students can check for holds in their MySRU Profile > Registration Notices.
