Transcripts

Follow the directions to order your official transcript from SRU.

IMPORTANT - Academic Records cannot take transcript orders over the phone or issue unofficial transcripts. Current students may access their unofficial transcript through their MySRU portal. Transcripts received and opened by a student are rendered unofficial. If a third party requires official transcripts, they must be sent from Academic Records directly to the third party using one of the ordering options below.

Students with an active hold with the University will be notified if their request cannot be processed.

Emailed / Electronic Transcripts

  • Students must order electronic transcripts using Parchment's online order form.
  • Transcripts are delivered electronically to the student or a third party.
  • Service Charge: $8.00 per transcript.

Note: Electronic transcripts are available for students who attended after 1974. Students who attended prior to 1974 must use the mail or pick up options below.

Regular Mail or In-Person Pick Up (2-4 Business Day Processing Time)

  • Service Charge: None.
  • Students must complete, physically sign, and return a Transcript Request to Academic Records. Digital signatures are not accepted.
  • Mailed transcripts are sent through the U.S. Postal Service within 2-4 business days. Delivery time is not guaranteed nor is tracking information provided.
  • Transcripts held for pick up are available within 2-4 business days. Recipient will receive an email when the transcript is ready. A valid photo ID is required at the time of pick up.

Same Day Pick Up by 2:00 p.m.

  • Service Charge: $10.00
  • Same day requests are only for in-person, same day pick up prior to 2:00 p.m.
  • Students must submit a signed Transcript Request to Academic Records and pay the same day service charge by 2:00 p.m. for same day processing. Both the request and payment may be submitted in the office at the time of pick up. A valid photo ID is required.
