Healthcare Administration and Management Degree Options
HCAM Bachelor of Science
The HCAM bachelor's degree provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue careers in the complex and diverse health care industry. Students develop a foundation in health care administration and management while studying areas such as leadership, financial management, organizational dynamics, health care law and ethics, information systems, quality improvement, and business analytics.
HCAM Online Degree Completion
For students looking for greater flexibility, SRU offers an online Health Care Administration and Management degree completion program. Designed for students completing their bachelor's degree, the online program provides the flexibility to balance coursework with professional and personal responsibilities while preparing for career advancement or new opportunities in health care.
HCAM Pre-Professional Programs
SRU's HCAM pre-professional pathways combine a strong foundation in health care administration and management with preparation for advanced clinical study. Students interested in becoming a physician assistant, physical therapist, or occupational therapist can pursue these pathways through accelerated or traditional formats.
An undergraduate HCAM degree provides pre-professional students with an understanding of how health care organizations are structured, financed, regulated, reimbursed, and managed. This combination of health care administration knowledge and advanced clinical preparation can help graduates develop the clinical, business, and leadership skills increasingly important in today's health care environment.
