As Winter Storm Fern approaches our region, Slippery Rock University continues to monitor the situation with a focus on the well-being of our students and campus community.
We know weather events can create uncertainty, and we want to ensure you have clear, timely information to help you plan and stay supported throughout the weekend. The University has plans in place in case of power loss, with additional generators on site for emergency backup power in specific locations.
On Saturday, January 24, the university will remain open and all scheduled activities will continue as planned.
Beginning at 11:00pm Saturday, all vehicles must be removed from the below parking lots in order to facilitate snow removal:
On Sunday, January 25, most campus buildings will be closed.

All scheduled on campus events and activities in buildings other than those named above are canceled. Attendees should check with the event or activity host for updates.
