2021 Middle States Self-Study Process
Also known as Middle States, MSCHE is Slippery Rock's regional accreditor. It requires each member institution to complete a self-study every eight years. The self-study process takes several years, and we are beginning work now, with the first step of establishing institutional priorities.
The kick-off for the self-study was at the Self-Study Institute in Philadelphia in early November 2018. The Slippery Rock team attended a variety of rich sessions to learn about process and content expectations for the project.
One Middle States expectation is broad-based community involvement in the self-study process. We'll be sharing information on this page, inviting you to meetings, and making requests for information. We hope that you will support the process with your time and expertise. If you're ready for a quick introduction to the self-study, watch this video:

How can I help?
Take the opportunity to indicate three priorities that you believe should inform our MSCHE self-study process by completing this survey. You can participate in the survey through early Spring 2019.
In addition, you are welcome to leave comments throughout the full self-study process here.
